Client: Drs Bromham, Lewis, Sheehan, Morgan & Kahn
A large purpose designed surgery, constructed on a difficult site on Prince of Wales Drive in central Neath. The building required piled cantilevered foundations and ground beams over a trunk sewer under a heavily reinforced rafted slab.
The doctors required at least 30% expansion space and this was planned within the roof structure, horizontal expansion being precluded by the site constraints.
